Fiona Marchant Cakes

As a family we have had several cakes from Fiona, they all looked and tasted amazing. My favourite was the penguin cake Megan asked for to celebrate her First Holy Communion. Not very religious but made her very happy and tasted great!

The Jett Pack

I met Jett taking his school photos at Kirkby Malzeard Primary School. He is a fantastic character, bursting with fun despite battling Muscular Dystrophy. His family and friends devote a lot of their time and energy into fundraising for the Jett Pack to increase knowledge of this condition.

This is Elijah

I met Elijah when working with Mud and Puddles daycare, first on the farm and then on a fun walk round the grounds of Ripley Castle. Elijah is full of life and smiles, it is impossible to be miserable in his presence. He has Down syndrome and his mum campaigns tirelessly to explain to people how wonderful he is, I love her phrase 'He's not what I expected he's more than I deserve'

I met Jack whilst he was at Kirk Hammerton Nursery, his mum makes the most amazing patterns for clothing, and takes pretty fab photos too so I was thrilled when she still bought some of his nursery ones!
