School Photos

Yorkshire Schools Photography has a unique approach to school photography. Letting the children call the shots and take ownership of their school photos deciding how and where they are taken instead of being expected to sit and smile for a stranger. Making the best use of any outside space whilst including images in the classroom to give a varied gallery for every family. Siblings are photographed separately and together and many schools invite younger siblings in for a shoot too.

Nursery/preschool Photos

Nurseries and preschools have the added complication of children attending on different days making a 'photo day' difficult for some children having to attend when it is not their usual day. This can be unsettling for children and not the best way to put them at ease. I attend settings for a week which gives me the chance to catch every child on their usual day. It also gives less confident children a chance to become familiar with me being there and more relaxed for their photos.

Fundraising photo days

Yorkshire Schools Photography offers fundraising photo days to help boost funds for schools, playgroups, cubs, brownies and any other groups looking for a new way to raise funds. In schools these can be done along side another company doing more traditional white background photos, asking the children to come in non-uniform with booked slots for those wanting a photoshoot. For these shoots 50% of the profits goes back to the setting. Schools and other groups can book a day at a weekend or during a holiday, advertising to a wider audience which is always helpful for the smaller settings.

Personal School Photos

Don't worry if you miss school photo day or are disappointed your school is sticking with a more rushed photographic approach, Yorkshire Schools Photography is happy to organise personal shoots to capture your school age child. These shoots are ideal if you have children at different schools as you combine their orders saving you money and time.

Prom Photoshoots

Another milestone, Prom at the end of Year 11 and again Year 13. The night itself is often chaotic but the time spent in the lead up to choose the perfect dress deserves a shoot to remember it.

First Communion and Confirmation

Yorkshire Schools Photography offers personal shoots including family shots and is also available for group photos from a school or friendship group.

Family Portraits

Nikki Mitchell Photography is available for family photoshoots and also runs mini sessions several times a year for a chance to update children's photos in a quick, convenient way and for a reasonable price.
